Very creamy. Plenty of shredded beef. No skimping there. Service was EXCELLENT! David was our waiter. Very attentive, but not overbearing or interuptive. Atmosphere is elegant and classy. “ We have visited 1922 on the square in Newark twice. Both times we sat outside on a lovely night. One of my favorite locations to have dinner looking over the historic courthouse. I have to say that the service is great here. They moved a bunch of tables to accommodate our large party. The food is spectacular. They bring you the best garlic bread that was part of the menu of a diner that used to be on the square. The salmon was moist and well seasoned. The potato side dish with malt vinegar is a must order. Everyone loved their food. The prices are in the higher end but not terrible. ”
“ Hands down the best Beef Tenderloin I have ever had. The Jalapeno Au Gratin Potatoes are melt in your mouth delicious! I could eat them every day with every meal. The homemade bleu cheese Natoma Salad dressing is amazing and compliments the onions and bacon perfectly. The bread compliments the Natoma Salad perfectly. I also tried the Cobbler Smash & Caramel Amaretto Kiss cocktails and I loved them both. Not too sweet with a kick. Creme Brulee is my favorite desert and I was not disappointed. If you haven't been here yet you are missing out. Go now! Perfect date night spot. I would suggest calling ahead and making a reservation especially for a party of 6 or more. Great atmosphere, very clean, great lighting, service was impeccable! We sat in the dining area but they also have a great bar! Five stars isn't enough. I need more stars! ”

She had such great recommendations and explained everything in detail. The food was absolutely amazing.
